River Weaver - Northwich to Dutton
A slight change of plans meant that instead of the 'Ship Canal' fleet setting off from Acton Bridge as previously planned, the set off point was now Dutton. I caught the train over to Northwich and set off on Ariel at 1.30PM. I stopped briefly at Saltersford Lock where my Uncle was moored on the Large Northwich Stirling, and also to chat to Mel the Lock Keeper and I then carried on to Dutton, where I have moored at the end of the lock moorings.
I will be back at Ariel on Tuesday evening, ready for the trip onto the Manchester Ship Canal and into Ellesmere Port on the Wednesday.
