Middlewich to Sale
After spending Friday and most of Saturday at Middlewich I decided on making an early exit to make sure that I arrived back at Sale at a reasonable time on the Sunday. So, after another walk around Middlewich and visiting the shop for supplies I set off northwards at 5.15pm.
I had a quite an uneventful trip through Winsford, Broken Cross, Rudheath and on to Anderton for 9pm where I spent the night tied alongside the Middle Northwich 'Taygeta'.
A 5.15am start on Sunday got me through Anderton, through Saltesford & Barnton Tunnels and I arrived at Preston Brook for the 8am tunnel. As my phone had ran out of battery I made a brief stop at Preston Brook to use the payphone. Unfortunately this was a card-phone only and with not taking that with me, retraced my steps and set off again northwards to Moore where I used the bankside payphone.
The rest of the trip was uneventul and I arrived back at Sale for 2.30pm.
