Middlewich Festival
After finishing work I got a lift straight over to the boat and arrived by around 5PM. After loading my gear on board for the week I walked over to the Kings Lock with my Dad for a quick pint before he headed home. Later in the afternoon I met up with Kerry and spent the rest of the evening between chatting with friends, the Kings Lock pub and the Cheshire Cheese. On the Saturday morning I moved Ariel up from near the winding hole upto above Kings Lock where I tied alongside the recently sold Princess Anne. Saturday evening was spent with the Rudd crowd having a BBQ and later on, a couple of pints in the Cheshire Cheese. An early night was had for the early start to climb the Cheshire Locks the following morning for my trip to Braunston.
