Ellesmere Port to Yarwoods Basin
After carrying out a couple of checks, myself and Dan moved Ariel from the lower basin into the Ship Lock which would take us through the tidal basin and on to the Manchester Ship Canal for the trip back to Yarwoods Basin on the River Weaver. We had pleasant trip along the Manchester Ship Canal, the weather being much kinder than the trip out a week earlier. We did well for time, leaving the lock last but making it to Weston Marsh ahead of 6 other boats. We arrived back at Yarwoods for around 3PM.
